Amy Wong, R.Ac.

Registered Acupuncturist

Amy is a Registered Acupuncturist and a graduate of the Grant MacEwan Acupuncture Diploma program. To further her education, she has also proceeded to take several introductory Chinese Herbology courses and also hopes to one day attain certification within the field.

She views acupuncture as an integrative component of modern medicine and should be viewed as a complement rather than as an alternative to the other types of holistic therapies. She is a strong advocate of positive choices, believing that a person’s well-being is directly influenced by the lifestyle choices that he or she makes. Making small changes in one’s daily life can result in big differences; it is her hope that she can guide people towards the realizations of these small changes and work together to achieve and maintain a lifestyle that better serves people’s needs.  She also holds a strong fascination towards the human body: the way the body functions to its ability to create illness and its capability to self-heal.

Christina Pistotnik, HHP, R.Ac

Holistic Health Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist

Becoming an acupuncturist was a decision Chrisitna made due to acupuncture treatments having a profound effect on her health and wellness.  Subsequent to a car accident, acupuncture was a treatment that helped her cope with her pain and she wanted to help others achieve their health goals the same way she did with acupuncture.  On the road to becoming an acupuncturist, Christina studied holistic health specializing in reflexology and acupressure, graduating from both the Holistic Health and Acupuncture programs at Grant MacEwan University.

Continuing education and research is important to Christina in order to stay up to date with current practices.   She has taken specialized training in obstetrical acupuncture with noted expert Debra Betts and received certification in reproductive medicine under respected specialist Jane Lyttleton.
