Repetitive strain injuries can be caused from repetitive movements, awkward working postures or overuse from activities of daily living such as: deskwork, caregiving, heavy items, golf, keyboarding, or machine work.

The terms “Tennis elbow”,“Golfers elbow”, “Carpal Tunnel” or Tendonitis refer to repetitive strain injuries that may affect the tendons, muscles, nerves and joints, most commonly causing pain in the neck, shoulders, elbows, hands, wrists or lower limbs.
